Ameera

Ameera started her passion for bellydance in 2005. Completing the Original A-Z Personal Technique Course with Dallia made her realise how important this dance form is in her life and she decided to be trained as a teacher, so she can share it with others.

She loves Pulse8 as it is a wonderful excuse to dance more, to get fit and celebrate being a woman! Ameera is encouraging and positive and stands out for her ability to break up every move into small components; therefore making students feel empowered and confident to challenge themselves.

Ameera can be seen dancing at 'Bodrum' Restaurant in Royal Oak, Auckland.

PaulaPaula, belly dance teacher at Oasis for Dance

Five years ago Paula enrolled for a belly dance course with Dallia and was instantly hooked.  Paula loves all forms of dance and has a background in jazz, ballet and salsa.  “What I love most about belly dance is that it celebrates everything it means to be a woman.  It doesn’t matter what age, size or shape you are - belly dance is about being proud of your feminine strength and energy.  In fact, we rejoice in the diversity of women and encourage you to let your unique personality shine through.  Belly dance is a fun way to get fit, is revitalising for the body and invigorating for the soul, and is a great way to meet some lovely people.  All in a welcoming and supportive environment.  Dallia is a warm and wonderful teacher who has created a nurturing and caring school, which I love being part of.  I would be delighted to help you start on your belly dance journey.”

ClaireClaire belly dancing

I remember my first Bellydance class with Dallia, surround by lots of woman; thinking what have I got myself in for? A friend of mine had asked me to come along to Bellydance class as a fun way of keeping fit. 4 years on I never thought I would still be dancing with 4 of those women, completed Keti Sharif’s Original A-Z Personal Techniques course and travelled to Egypt with Dallia and 8 other students to not on be tourist’s but to also learn from other great teachers.

Some of the things I love about Dallias School; the warm setting in which she teaches, the passion and knowledge she shows for this beautiful dance form and the supportive woman of all shapes, sizes and ethnicity.

I look forward to my next goal which is helping you create your Bellydance experience.

A-Z Bellydance Training

Devised by Keti Sharif in 1999, A-Z Routines has been a blessing to many bellydance students, teachers and performers.
A-Z is a most popular system, which is based on 16-part routines that teach you how to dance with rhythm and flow, as you learn core techniques, cultural terminologies, smooth transitions and an array of bellydance movement combinations. A-Z is fun, flexible and accessible.

Join us for this intense belly dance experience and dance towards your own certification. It will for sure help you to take your dancing to a higher level.
A-Z certification is becoming popular worldwide as dancers seek to develop themselves with extra support, practice and training. You will need a training pack available from Dallia and this will give you everything you need to reach the certification level. The course includes full manual with written study notes, instructional DVD, music CD, and assessment guidelines. Students of A-Z teachers enjoy the structure and development A-Z brings to them and teachers love it for the same reasons!
You will get many benefits from the A-Z Personal Technique Course:

• You get a tool that makes choreographing, performing and improvising so much easier
• have a great reference kit, instead of solely relying on memory and notes
• get tools to gain more confidence, clarity and understanding of this beautiful art form
• Be assessed to International standards

• get an official certificate for A-Z from Keti Sharif after successful assessments
• get a listing online after being certified
• have the possibility to follow up at any point in your life with A-Z teacher certification
• can become a Pulse8 training if you wish to go further.
• be part of an international supportive community
• are eligible to join the world wide A-Z Conferences to meet like-minded women from all over the world.
