the objectives of the 'Oasis for Dance '.
Dallia is an Auckland based bellydancer and choreographer for Middle Eastern Dance. She blends her Greek and German heritage to create a passionate and skillful dance style.
Dallia has trained in Latin dance, Jazz and Modern dance, as well as Yoga.
She is committed to further develop her dance skills and has trained with various Masterteachers, such as Aida Nour, Dr. Mo Geddawi, Hossam and Serena Ramzy, Keti Sharif, Morroco and others.
Dallia has appeared as an bellydance instructor on the TV Show 'Down size me' and the documentary 'Essence of a Woman'.
She has been teaching Egyptian style bellydance in Auckland since 2000 and is the art director of the Oasis for Dance.
Dallia is the first accredited teacher for Keti Sharif's original and advanced A-Z Routines as well as the first pulse8 fitness instructor in New Zealand personally taught by her in Perth, Australia, as well as in Egypt.
She is always committed to develop her knowledge with Master teachers from around the world as well as keep educating herself in safe dance practice.
Dallia dances throughout the Auckland area in cultural festivals, private functions, restaurants and theatre settings.
Ameera started her passion for bellydance with Community Classes in Tribal style in 2005, but she soon moved to Dallia's classes in the Oriental style. Completing the Original A-Z Personal Technique Course with Dallia made her realise how important this dance form is in her life and she decided to be trained as a Teacher in 2009, so she can share it with others. Ameera is encouraging and positive and stands out for her ability to break up every move into small components; therefore making students feel empowered and confident to challenge themselves.
Backed by her Middle Eastern culture and love for beauty and dance, Grace started teaching children in May 2009, motivated by her 10 year old daughter who loves dancing. Grace believes that dancing is a great way to express yourself, gain confidence, stay fit and have fun.
Grace started dancing Ballet from an early age then joined her school gymnastic team. In March 2009 she started Belly dancing classes at the Oasis for dance school, participated in the At the Oasis show 09 and has found peace in dancing.
Her goal is to carry on teaching children to dance and encourage them to experiment with their own dance moves on a variety of international music.
Devised by Keti Sharif in 1999, A-Z Routines has been a blessing to many bellydance students, teachers and performers.
A-Z is a most popular system, which is based on 16-part routines that teach you how to dance with rhythm and flow, as you learn core techniques, cultural terminologies, smooth transitions and an array of bellydance movement combinations. A-Z is fun, flexible and accessible.
